Chamber Choir has been working very hard the last few months learning, rehearsing, choreographing, and selling Valentunes! The four groups ran all over town singing love ballads to family, friends, and complete strangers! All of the money raised goes towards each member's choir tour fund. It was hard work, but it was so worth it to make a person's day, or completely embarrass them!
So much hard work has been happening the past month as we prepare for our Mega-Concert: Let It Be, a Tribute to the Beatles. Here we are at our dress rehearsal, the day before opening night, and the power cuts off 15 minutes before we're set to begin. Unfazed, we all take out our cell phones and turn on the flashlights and continue in the dark! We all gained new meaning and appreciation from the words of our combined finale, "And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me, shine until tomorrow, let it be."
